Programs & Services

As a member of the Global Glass Conservation Alliance (GGCA), your company will receive access to the following benefits/services:

  • The Green Glass News: As a member, you will receive a free subscription to this bi-monthly newsletter featuring news and points of interest regarding the repair, restoration, reuse and recycle of automotive and flat glass. Each council also has its own newsletter.
  • GGCA Website: The GGCA website (http://www.glassconservation.org) a valuable information tool for consumers to find out more about the benefits of repairing, restoring, reusing and recycling (float and architectural glass). Also, as a GGCA member, you will receive a free listing on the website where consumers may peruse members in their area. Members receive one free listing for their company and may also purchase additional listings for additional locations;
  • Product Promotion: Attract potential clients by showcasing your company’s products in our annual Buyers’ Guide, available exclusively to GGCA members;
  • Networking: Get connected with others that are engaged in windshield repair, scratch removal, as well as those involved in the recycling, reuse and restoration of automotive and flat glass. Make important and valuable contacts and connections with others involved in your industry;
  • Lead Referral Program: Upon receiving inquiries from consumers wishing to find a reputable repair, restoration, reuse, or recycling company (or those in the repair industry looking for reputable suppliers). GGCA staff will forward these inquiries to members in the consumer’s geographic region;
  • Legislative and Regulatory Representation: As a member of the GGCA, feel confident that the interests of your industry will be professionally and competently represented at international events and meetings that focus on glass and environmental concerns relevant to your business interests;
  • Information Dissemination: GGCA members may contact the association for help in finding information about repair, restoration, reuse and recycle of automotive and flat glass;
  • Public Relations Assistance: Take advantage of the GGCA’s wealth of public relations knowledge in determining how best to get your company’s brand and message out;
  • Legislative Updates: The GGCA provides information about changes in laws that could affect your ability to do business in your state and nationally;
  • Insurance Discounts: The association offers a full line of insurances for its members at reduced fees. These include: Health, Disability, Life and more;
  • Purchasing Discounts: GGCA members receive generous discounts from a number of repair related companies. Members receive discounts from Glass Medic America (10 %), Glass Technology (10%), Glasweld (15%) and U.S. Windshield Repair (10%), among others;
  • Benchmark Studies: The association provides an annual benchmark survey for each of the three councils. This survey, available free to members, details1 average sales, cost of goods sold, gross margins and costs as a percentage of sales for member companies. The GGCA annual benchmark survey is a great way to compare your company to industry averages;
  • Discount Credit Card Program: GGCA members may enroll in reduced fee credit card programs that enable you to lower your cost for credit card processing;
  • Advocacy to Insurers: When insurance company policies, procedures or practices change in a way that affects the repair industry, GGCA will make sure insurers understand the implications (good or bad) to the repair industry. The GGCA will also alerts its members about changes by insurance companies and what the implications of those changes could be;
  • Advertising: Members are also eligible to advertise on the site or in the newsletter at a low cost;
  • Biennial Marketing Campaign: The GGCA will offer a biennial marketing campaign, including print ads, web ads, radio scripts and more, all designed around our green message. Each campaign will be available exclusively to GGCA members and may be used for a period up to two years;
  • Marketing Aids:  The association provides a number of  glass repair and scratch removal marketing aids available only to members. These include: windshield and flat glass savers, mirror tags, information brochures, windshield repair CD, shop signs, decals and more;
  • Logo Usage and Licensing: Members signing a logo usage agreement may use the GGCA logo in print ads, yellow pages, on websites, business cards and other business materials. GGCA members may also link to the GGCA without requesting permission;
  • Event  registration discounts: GGCA members will receive a discounted pricing for all GGCA meetings and conferences, which offer a great venue for networking with peers and suppliers.
